Uninstall - Alliance Shield

UNINSTALLING ALLIANCE SHIELD APPLICATION

When properly setup, you cannot uninstall the Alliance Shield like you would a normal app.

You will receive the following error:

This is because the Alliance Shield has the Device Admin privilege. Normally you could remove the privilege from the Security Settings of your device and uninstall the app, however, if you have paired your device to your account you will not be able to as the Deactivate button is disabled

Open the Shield and navigate to settings

Here you want to turn OFF Pair Device to Account and Device Admin

Once that is done you can uninstall the Shield
