I have firmware AQD9 and this method doesn't work. I am able to disable HelloBixby, but then the button does nothing even after choosing apps/commands in the BixbyRemap app.

Any ideas on how to get firmware AQD9 to cooperate?

I initially had the same problem, and had forgotten one small, but important step... In the Remap Bixby app, did you click at the bottom of the screen where it says, "Turn On BixbyRemap in Settings .. Accessibility .. Services .. Click here" and turn the Boxby Remap to ON?

No I did not forget that important step! I have BixbyRemap turned on in accessibility services. And yes I have Alliance Shield X installed. I don't think BixbyRemap works with software version AQD9.

Did you make sure to make the Shield X as device owner through ADB?

Finally looks like there is a way to remap, this bixby button on my S8+.
