I will make other tests with all options. Other BL and CP, and also 1st release of twrp. I came back later for news. I start with last BL, CP and twrp.

Youness, try the methods I posted in the Backstage forums. Seems hopeful for unlocking bootloader with Tegra.

I think it fails to recognize the device itself. Thats why which combination of ODIN and BL/CP was used.aztek wrote:Hopefully there is resolve for this. Does it have to be Hydra?
Would recommend to try with ODIN 3.12.3
and
BL_N930FXXU2BPJ8_CL9450328_QB11317809_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
and
CP_N930FXXU2BPJ5_CL9450328_QB11203413_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
if not used so far before.

I tried just now with BL_N930FXXU2BPJ8_CL9450328_QB11317809_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 and it fail in sboot.bin param.bin

You could try with older versions like:pashamangl wrote:I tried just now with BL_N930FXXU2BPJ8_CL9450328_QB11317809_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5 and it fail in sboot.bin param.bin
BL_N930FXXU2BPIA_CL9201627_QB10964544_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
or
BL_N930FXXU1BPHA_CL8981392_QB10744576_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5
together with the corresponding CP
If this fails then it seems that with the last update the bootloader was tampered and locked like with the snapdragon versions in the past.

unfortunatelly i've tried with all BL but alway gives error.I'm afraid that bootloader was locked with last update

Did you use the corresponding modem/cp together, it means flashing the same time?pashamangl wrote:unfortunatelly i've tried with all BL but alway gives error.I'm afraid that bootloader was locked with last update
If locked bootloader is confirmed, then this is bad luck.
Maybe you know someone not hit by the update yet but willing to give up his device (know that there's liitle probablity)
or someone at a point of collection for the note devices (shop, transport service) and swap with yours.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone for your comments and advice.
It's depressing that the 30% update looks like killing any chance I had of continuing with this device
I'm not returning it though.
I'll keep it in the hope that someone, somewhere will come up with a fix one day, and if not, I'll sleep at night knowing that my business paid for it anyway so it's cost me nothing personally.
It might even be worth something in years to come!
I'll stay in touch here anyway

Hahaha, you're great. Please do stick around and see what happens. Perhaps we can find what's limiting the battery WITHIN the update, and stop that.roosty wrote:Heartfelt thanks to everyone for your comments and advice.

Exynos Octa 8890 running at 2.6gh
That sounds impressive to me, but I fix catering equipment for a living.....
What do you guys make of it?
did you managed to pass that 30% battery cap?
