Hi, I'm guessing there aren't many UK users left but I got a notification saying they're restricting me to 30% on the 15th of December.
Here are the packages I've disabled, are there any more I need to disable to prevent this update? Thanks.

Hi SuperHans,
I'm a UK user and new to this site. I've been struggling along with the 60% restriction for a while. I've kind of got used to having the car charger always on and a portable one in my laptop case and have been doing fine.
I was awoken at around 2.30am today as the N7 got zapped by the 30% restriction push by Samsung.
I wish I'd known about possible solutions to prevent the updates taking effect - I'd have taken action to prevent it happening.
The first day at 30% wasn't pleasurable.
I need the phone to run my business, so I'm reluctant to mess around with it too much. That said, if anyone can recommend a fix for the battery restriction at least to restore the 60% (or better) so that I can continue using it, I'm more than willing to try it as I love the phone.
Regards

Do you have the Exynos version? Hydra will allow you to roll back firmware if you can root it.roosty wrote:Hi SuperHans,

Guys,
Thank you for taking time out to reply - much appreciated.
I'm not sure where I'd look to see if I have Exynos as I'm not a software expert. I'll have stab at finding out though!
Great that I've found this place as my resolve was beginning to weaken a bit when the 30% restriction kicked in. Carphone Warehouse are not exactly helpful and just want me to dumb out and return the phone in exchange for an S7E.
My instinct is to keep the Note as it's so good. Hoping someone with a software brain can come up with something before the b++*ards brick the UK units - mine included!

On XDA there are reports that it worked for the 60% update at least. So assume it will work here too.benyou54 wrote:I m testing hydra rom with 30% update. I will tell you if it works or not in 2 hours [emoji6]

Important to choose Hydra Kernel instead of stock for Hydra 1.4.5 (otherwise you'll have 60% - even better than 30
Or you take Hydra 1.4

Arrghh! Sounds not so good.benyou54 wrote:Bad news. It seems odin fails. When you try to flash twrp, odin fails in device info. I think Samsung removed odin support
