I did a factory reset and now my note is bricked. So I would avoid that at all cost. I had AT&T and 100% battery and shieldjuliesdroidsync wrote:9279slbdude75 wrote:9272 im about to get a used note7 ATT and he's going to erase it and restore it(to clear personal data) What should be my first step to keep them from bricking me?
wait... wait... wait... @Global1; didn't I read that Samsung removing them from the Knox agreement will brick them on a Factory Data Reset?

I am very thankful for the solutions and workarounds you guys at Note 7 Alliance do for us No7 users☺ I also am moderately knowledgeable in firmwares/hacks/development. (ect)
I am currently not protected by the No7alliance Shield.
I am on n930vvrs2aphe with 100% battery still but not protected from all of the updates yet. Can someone PLEASE help me get the Shield into place on my device asap? Thank you in advance for any and all help. (3g)

thanks, i will be keeping my fingers crossedaztek wrote:9055 Hello Alliance members,
Just to keep everyone in the loop. Currently since Samsung has removed Note7 users from the Knox EULA agreement voiding the ability to use the Alliance Shield v1 for [new] or [oncoming] users - please be advised that all [current] shield users are safe and still able to use the shield as well as their phone (reboot, reset without wiping apps/data, etc); just don't uninstall the Shield because if you do you've lost your chance to re-use it. You'll get license terminated upon trying next time.
Currently a new method is in development the form of Alliance Shield v2. There is -absolutely no timeframe, promises and/or substantial details we can give you at this time- and the method in which it uses will not be mentioned either, just incase Samlurkers are here taking notes. But, do know that it has been started and in the works. No promises. No time-frames. No hopes up, but eventually it will come.
@RRiVEN is the project lead & coder on the Alliance Shield but is currently away for work-related issues. We will keep everyone updated.
Thank you,
N7A Team
