Force70 - are you transferred to pre-recorded voice message stating that your handset cannot be registered on your Carrier's network and asking you to contact the Carrier's support team?
and what happens to third-parties who attempt to call your registered mobile number?

Voluntary RECALL
call and Bitch!
speak to Supervisor
tell the to lift HOTLINE status off your phone/line and that you VOLUNTARY want to keep your phone!
be force full they will lift it! they have no legal grounds to do this!! it"s Voluntary!!

mine was shut off this morning and It is now back on and fully functional within a half hour! 01/28/2017

Also if they were to try and charge you for the phone they can't SELL YOU A KNOWN DEFECTIVE DEVICE BY LAW and they done admitted that it WAS, AND PROVEN it by issuing a refund of your purchase price.
And as a matter of fact on their own web site the NOTE 7 has a trade in value of 0.00

it is obvious that different people are getting different treatment. And that can be a good thing for all of us! One person calls and could not get their phone turned back on,, another called and said their phone would be turned back on for 5 days. and you apparently think that they have permanently turned your phone back on if I'm reading you right, is that correct?

No, it does not surprise me that Verizon is giving different people different treatment... I have put it on record in writing during chat sessions and recorded phone calls, and unrecorded phone calls, that I do not volunteer to return my phone. I have told them that I want them to charge me for my phone so I can pay it off. And yet, all they continue to do is threaten to...? You guessed it! Charge me for my phone... <deep sigh>

Do you believe that they are not going to shut you back off again? I hope you are right! please let us know if you are still up and running on February 1! Because if you are, you are my hero, baby!

Exactly!! Many who were turned back on, I have learned will have to deal with it again on or after the 31st. They did a "roll out" of the hotlines the past couple of weeks, with the 31st being the last day for every N7 IMEI on their network. Just hung up from a lengthy conversation with a supervisor who didn't have an answer for any of my points and tried to reinstate my services, but said as long as the n7 IMEI was on there, it would let her. I was on hold for a while, and believe she tried as I wasnt rude... just knowledgeable of my rights and was assertive (plus a 16 yr customer with SIX LINES on our account). She said I could try technical support, but she tried to remove the hotline but couldn't with the N7 IMEI identified on the line....

Thoughts???

Ok so Verizon just shut my phone down tonight. I can still receive phone calls and use Wi-Fi. But no outgoing calls, text inbound or outbound, and no internet connection.

Has anyone gotten an answer as to where we stand or how to get around this ?
