I need help please!! I downloaded The Alliance Shield and everything worked fine. I just happened to be reading some of the comments on FB and noticed that I didn't have as many "red boxes" (only 2) as others. So I think I just messed up. I did the whole back up and reset all over again. Downloaded "The Shield" again and now I have 6 "red boxes." So I'd like to know where do I g from here? is it ok to restore my phone now and insert the SIM and SD card? I'm so lost. I tried to find the tutorial on what to do next but I can't seem to find it. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. :? :?

I also just realized that I did the update to the Smart Switch when I just read on one of the tutorials that it specifically says not to!!! Ugh! Is this also going to be an issue?

Did the Smart Switch app recognize your phone OK? If you were able to flash successfully, have100% charging and the shield installed, you can move forward with putting in the sim and sd and using the phone. As far as red boxes, those are carrier specific, meaning At&t may have less than Verizon etc

Sorry to be such a pain but I'd like to know if I should insert the SIM & SD first or restore my phone first? And when do I take it out of Airplane mode?? I'm so lost.

Is your phone at 100%? If yes, continue on with your sim outand airplane mode on, Wi-Fi off, use smart switch to restore your settings. Then follow the procedure to set up the sheild and install it on your phone. Once you have that set up, and ready for you to log in, turn off airplane mode and Wi-Fi on, log on to the sheild. Make sure it turns on and disables the packages. Once you have that set up, you can then put your sim and sd back in your phone
