I think this is what is wrong with Samsung pay. There is Samsung pay for the gear s3 frontier which shows mobile and gear Samsung pay as 1.2.5 or whatever...but when I check the app file I downloaded here for Samsung pay it shows the correct 2.5 version.
Before anything i factory reset my gear and uninstalled Samsung pay on my phone as well as made sure the framework was updates also.
Why do you think it's causing this issue and how can this be fixed?
:UPDATE:
Blue writing is mobile version on phone. The yellow writing is the Samsung pay app on my phone that connects to the gear (shows a older mobile phone version....its like it won't read the apk file for the updated sideload of Samsung pay)

Yes that is the most updated gear app via the gear store. The weird part is the gear app still shows the Samsung pay as the old version (where they stopped support of the Note 7)NCqTee wrote:6549 Did you update the gear app too?

Yes they do just fine....just weird it sees the note Samsung pay as old version. I can add a card just fine on both....the gear just doesn't send the past payments to my phone or add the card that is already on my phone Samsung payCatwoman wrote:7135 Maybe bc it recognizes your Note7.
