I was able to stop the install of the update. Here is my issue. I was able to do a factory reset and get the update removed, however to install the Alliance Shield I have to connect to the internet and by doing so the update will try and install again. So i tried the other way by using the S Package Disabler with the Solid Explorer and the S Package Disabler requires me to hit the enternet as well and once again the update started to load. Now i am going to try and pull back my backup that i did and see if I can load the Alliance Shield from that without having to hit the internet. Any advice would be appreciated. I am struggling to beat this update.

NCqTee I checked and i do not have that file in my downloads. I never allowed it to install. I did a factory reset every time it tried to come through. I was able to get the Allience Shield updated and then it started again. I turned of the wifi right away and rebooted. Without the WiFi on I am good. I have not turned it on since. The Allience shied was green and active. I thought I was safe. It appears it is not blocking something.

Could you try loading the apk onto an SD card, and installing it that way? Or does it still require an internet connection for the install?jay.dalrymple wrote:6612 I was able to stop the install of the update. Here is my issue.
