Shield and Spak/solidexplorer method? [SOLVED]

Am I supposed to be using both the alliance shield and the spackage disabler methods? sorry if this has already been asked but my eyes are burning from strain right now lol

We recommend the shield in case of other disablers accidently are updated and no longer work or the user missed some relevant package for their carrier.
The shield automatically will handle update packages for all carriers.
