Are you waiting for the COM box to turn green first? It can take a bit

Seems that the note is recognized so far, can you transfer files there an vice versa?

There are some things to try:

-check your usb configuration in developer options: try to change between mtp and ptp
-unplug and plug your note
-try another usb port at pc
-try to repeat flash process (there are reports from other who needed 10 or more tries)
-try another pc / operating system (some problems related to windows 10, windows 7 has best experience
-sometimes security software installed at pc causes problems

did all those, still didn't work, even went to a different computer with windows 7. I fought the good fight, I shall fight no more....... :( I assume it's because I have the original battery phone, maybe that makes a difference but it's not working. Goodbye

Com and the number is just the sun port you are using. The bootloader is locked. Turn off your phone for now. We are working on a fix
