Did I have to roll back to 100% first?

As of 10 am on east coast so far no update.

I have question what happenes if i did not roll back to 100%? I followed and installed the sheild, disabled the packages as in the tutorial. Sheild is working, will I still received the death update if I did not roll to 100%?

I also have the same question. I am at 60% but installed shield and (knock on wood) all good as of right now.

@Polskidebesciak what packages did you manually disable? I thought the shield would take care of everything.

We highly recommend rolling the firmware back before installing the shield. Now it's your decision obviously, but you'll not regain full functionality of your phone.

What happens when like in my case i installed the shield and did not roll back? So far so good as of 4 30 PM est ATT phone.
Can i proceed with doing the firmware when i get home? And then doing the shield again?

Our block methods stops all Samsung updates. Is OK if you want to stay at 60% for now.
