Whenever I click on the shield it says it has stopped working. Had it installed a day or two now. Multiple people are reporting the same issue. Verizon sends the update tomorrow. Help?

I am with Verizon as well and I have the same issue. I downloaded the shield, tapped on the red shield and it turned green and then a few hours later a popup "Unfortunately,Alliance Shield has stopped." At has the option to click "OK" but nothing happens. Any ideas, Thank you

Hey, I wanted to check and see if the shield has been working for folks. I have a rooted phone and want to know before I take it off of airplane mode.

FYI, for those of you who are asking, the update automatically started, even though I had auto updates turned off! They are apparently very desperate to get this pushed out. I just hope they don't target IMEIs next. I don't think it'll be nearly as easy to bypass those numbers.

No; I still get the same message. I have the mobile data off and sim card pulled, so if the phone needs to update I maybe need to turn the data on? Thank you

Yes you have to have an internet connection

Hey guys..first thanks so much for theLove n Support of all Note 7 users holding On.
I habe downloaded Alliance app n installed it but when I try to log in it tells me my password/user name is incorrect . Have even uninstalled Alliance Shield n reinstalled it but same thing cansomeone help
