I have the first version N7 and attempted to flash firmware to remove the 60% charge limit a few weeks ago. It worked, but I had tons of errors popping up and couldn't use the phone. I let it update overnight back to the 60% and haven't messed with it since due to vacation and Xmas. I had PDP installed and all was well, but i goofed and disabled knox. First reboot I of my phone I did last night and I could no longer get into my phone so had to do a fresh install today. So I have the shield and have downloaded it, there are two versions and I dont see which I should install?

Also, since I already have the 60% limit, will the shield work for me or do I need to be back to the 100% charge status?

Thank you much, I am running out of time and wishing I didnt wait until the last minute to do this.

I'd like to know this also. Can I skip the 100% battery recovery part and just get shield or no? That winwar or whatever it's called is partially free. It said i had to download an offer and it had to be confirmed first before i could get the free trial or maybe im doing something wrong. I'm just tired at this point and would love to keep my phone until the 8 comes out!

You need to roll back the update to 100% battery and then install the shield. viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6
