Yes you can. I use mine for bloatware but since the shield has that option as well I plan on switching it all over

My question about the new Alliance Shield is if it is in addition to the S Package Disabler? I successfully rolled back the 60% battery cap to the 100% charging using the Note7 tutorial and disabled with S Package Disabler. I am with TMobile and have not gotten anything with regard to the update (supposedly) pushed on 12/27/16. Since I am a tech luddite and was so surprised I actually was able to save my phone with the help of the Note7Alliance (yea!!), I am a little afraid to jinx my luck by monkeying with my phone again. Am I safe as I am or do I need to install the Shield after I reach the posting limit? Thank you so much for all your work for us and support for the Note7. I bought the phone so I could talk to my 2 college daughters is Scotland via Whatsapp calling and am desperate to keep the lovely phone and will do so just to spite Samsung. Thanks again.

I would recommend the shield. Getting the post requirement isn't hard. Just check out a couple threads. Games, apps, backgrounds, picture sharing, ramdom stuff.. many topics to choose from. Then I would switch to just the shield. There hasn't been any conflicts so far with our apps but to be safe. That's what we recommend

How long does the whole process take? I have the 60% update downloaded, but not installed. So, I need to go through the whole process on 2 phones! My wife has the Note 7 as well. Also, 2 part question here... Will I be able to download the shield onto both phones? Or would she need to sign up here & do the 5 posts too?

Just for my understanding - is the Shield just a fork of some other package disabler framework, with the appropriate packages pre-blocked?

I read in another thread that I can have both but need to put the Shield first in line by disabling S Package Disabler, enabling the Shield and then re-enabling S Package. It makes sense to me to have the Shield first to catch the bad stuff and then the 2nd Disabler catching all else I already disabled. I will make sure I understand what I am doing before I act so to keep my Note7 as it is now, i.e., 100% charged and not hit by TMobile 12/27/16 update. Thanks for your help.

@RebelR looks like your question was addressed on another thread. Is anyone else still need assistance on this ticket?

If thats the set up you've got you should be good to go. If the sheild is pulling first priority you're in the clear.
