I shut off the updates from Samsung but now I have this notification that will not go away. How do I remove that notification?

John.Johnson did this work for you? I installed Greenify pro and hibernated software update. I also tried to hibernate system update but it keeps restarting itself as soon as it's hibernated. So I still keep getting the new software update notification.
dseo80 was there something else you did to get this to work?

I cant find where to really post this question so here i go lol. During the process (VERIZON) using solid explorer i had the 1st Soagent.apk but didnt have the 2nd one FOTAagent.apk in my root storage list so i went ahead with the process and finished flawlessly. My question is do i need that file? Is there something else i need to do in this case or am i still covered by finishing the process and disabling the 3 VERIZON files in package disabler???

One warning, I didn't realize when I factory reset mine that the apk files for the Occulus apps I had used in the past did not back up (and therefore didn't restore). I was going to try modifying them as discussed here viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2 but when I went to find my files they were gone. Just in case anyone else wants to not run into that issue.

do you need root access to use the greenify to stop the update notifications?
