Hey everyone, i'm new here, and i have a few issues with my canadian Galaxy Note7. I recently got my hand on this phone, it was a non runner since i got it, it does not boot into android, recovery is not working, it just keeps restarting, i can get into download mode, but i can't flash any firmware via ODIN. Every time i get the same error SW REV CHECK FAIL : (aboot) Fused 3 Binary 2. How ( if possible) can i get the phone to work again? It's too good to give up on it. Here is my ODIN log, every time i try to flash a firmware on it.

The firmware you already installed have is baseband 3, and you try to flash a baseband 2 one.
This is prevented by Samsung with an e-fuse, so you can't flash a firmware with a lower baseband version.
(For the Canadian firmware the 10th character of the firmware shows the baseband).
You may try to find one with a "3" at the 10th position of the firmware name.
However, you can try this solution here to repair a snapdragon note 7 with a kill update installed:

This will take you to a 15% charging firmware.
Our rooting specialist will provide a 100% for Canadian version soon.

It works, It only charges up to 15%, but still it's better than having a brick. I'll keep an eye out for the 100% version. Cheers

Just a quick question, can i connect to a wifi network or use mobile data without any concern that a forced update might cripple my device again?

Oh, terrific, happy to be the guinea pig :) :). Not so keen on rooting, i'l try a package disabler or Shield.

I noticed a few issues with this firmware, wi-fi and bluetooth don't work, if i put any sim card in, i see the network, but no mobile data, and i don't mean i can't use it, i can't find it, it't nowhere to be seen, either in the settings or anywhere, and when i try to make a phone call, the phone just reboots. Other than that it's fine.

With baseband 3 updates, wifi and bluetooth functionality was removed in Canadian versions.
If the patch will work mentioned above will work for you, you'll get back those functions.
By now you have at least a nice camera and media player ;-)
