Help : all I need to know before opening note7 box

Hello there (from France)
Tonight I just bought a Note 7 never been used, box never been open...
Why ? Because frustration from last year never gone after my pre-order was cancelled by Samsung and because one year after, every day I see all those accessoires that I bought for my note 7 that I never been used...
So emotion sequence is done :)

I need your help because I really don’t want to make a mistake before any of use.

Is there a nice person that can summary what I need to know and proceed before any use ?
I understand that informations have to be found on the many posts but I’ll really appreciate to have a survival kit and once again do no make a mistake that kill my phone at first use.

Important (maybe), my note 7 is an european model SM-930F.

Waiting for your advices before opening box.

Ok so without reply i started to proceed using tuto.
Shield seems to be activated, i've got green shield icon on status bar.
I noticed that the notification and progress bar about downloading new firmware update disapeared as the shied was configured and activated.
So I think my Note 7 is ready to be used :)

I can really thanks all team that make it's possible to keep using this wonderfull device !
