Alliance Shield X - Features

This is the login screen, any errors will appear where it says error messages appear here. If you having problems logging in PLEASE CHECK THE ERROR MESSAGE.

After you login there are a few things you need to do before you can use the Alliance Shield.

Device Admin must be turned on

The shield requires at least one of the following to be activated:

V3
V2
Knox

If you used the NFC method to install the Shield then you should have Device Admin and V3 enabled already.

Note 7's have had their Knox revoked from Samsung (unless you are ATT) so that is not an option.

V2 does not work on Android 7

If you have root (even temp root for the Note 7) you can use the V3 using root to enable v3. This will allow you to use the shield and manage packages.

When activating Knox I am not kidding when I say it can take a full minute.

You will get a message, either it worked or it didn't so just site there until you do. If you Launch Shield X before Knox is done it will stop the process.

The NFC option is so you can install the Shield to a new device using NFC. IF you see this error then your NFC is either turned off, or you don't have NFC on your phone.

The NFC bump is NOT ready while the icon is red. You also need to input the Wifi name and password before you NFC Bump.

The Shield screen. There are two important items on this screen. The Shield Icon and the list of packages it disables.

Tap twice to turn off the shield, not sure why you want to but you can.

The APN Manager requires Knox. Here you can add/delete/edit the APNs on the Phone.

The Performance Option also needs Knox.

Firewall requires Knox.
The firewall is next on the list of improvements. A entire new interface is going to be implemented in a near future release.

Add a domain and it is blocked from the entire system to include all games and apps

This one does freeze the app for about 10 seconds but it will come back with a huge list of blocked domains.

To disable the ad block it will also freeze for about 10 seconds.
