hey so before the site changed from note7alliance catwoman had made a skype recording of an older method that worked like a charm when blocking the updates from samsung via the ADB method which entailed using developer options ON and plugging your phone to PC and having airplane mode enabled and opening ADBdriverinstaller and then using the exe disable ADB does that method no longer work because I do not see it on here or anywhere else and I Really loved that method and never worried at all I also had extra protection using the ORIGINAL alliance shield version app and with those two the device felt unstoppable... now being as the note 7 is a collectors item now and seing as someone got 10k for his I am trying to sell my device but I want to factory reset it and wipe it clean but keep the update blocked and the last time was the method I Described above and now there is a new one called explorer something... my question is can I still do the old method and have zero issues or MUST i use this new method and if I factory reset should I worry that they will push the kill update on my device once it has restored? or will it be okay thanks in adnvance

They will push the update if you reset.

The ADB Method can still be used, I have slow internet right now but I can search for it

Shield 3 works just as good.

I am a new member and I do not meet the eligibility of 5 posts to install Shield App. Is there another way to block auto update from my Canadian carrier Telus?
