you're right just bricked my phone. Any suggestions? Reflash via odin the firmware from the post on this site to remove battery limitation and reinstall shield x?

I had mine rooted also but locked myself out forgetting my password. Factory reset and was forced to download 60 percent battery. Kill battery has not been forced. Is it rootable?

I'm in the same boat. I still have the first note 7 but with the first recall update so Sprint debug doesn't work. Hopefully someone will figure something out.

I have the first Note 7, as well, but mine worked with the instructions here: https://alliancex.org/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=6
At first it wasn't working, but then i figured out that as soon as Odin notifies that the flash is done, you need to unplug the phone almost before it even starts to reboot. Gotta be fast. I figure unplugging it must have prevented some flashed component from being written over.

but how is it api4 on both baseband and build. I have same version of phone but when I use that version I get an annoying popup when I connect a device. Is there a documented way of removing that?

Also, xposed does not work on that version right?
