The solution in the link from waterpass will only work, if you have a 1st gen. Note 7 (white battery) that never got any update.

You can try to flash the firmware you had before to fix your device.

you're right just bricked my phone. Any suggestions? Reflash via odin the firmware from the post on this site to remove battery limitation and reinstall shield x?

It depends on the firmware baseband level you had before. On the site we have a baseband 2 level stock rom for T-Mobile. If you had suich one before, it should work. But if you were hit by a kill update, you had a baseband 3 level firmware and would need such one to re-flash. The reason for this is that baseband level downgrade is prevented by an e-fuse.

I have a note 7 t- mobile, that was hit with the 0% /kill update. I'm able to get the battery charged by swap to 100% . It there a kernel that is keeping it from 100%? Can I do anything to fix this phone?

Yes there is a custom firmware we have developed that will restore it.
