Out of curiousity, do you remember what day of the week you were hotlined? Curious, as another member mentioned that he had been hotlined twice, and both times had been on a Friday around noon... just wondering.Nozgul wrote: Sun Feb 26, 2017 3:01 am I was hotlined on both my note 7's on different numbers nearly 2 weeks apart. Brought old phones with micro sim slots, had those activated, went out to the parking lot and swapped sims. Both note 7's have been good for over a week now. I don't know if they'll be blocked again but the IMEI showing on my account shows the old Motorola phones I used for the new sim cards. So at least that is a temporary fix.
Hotlined. Everythings disabled - Have any of you "hackers" found a solution yet?

I was sometime from a Thursday night to Friday morning, in case it really matters. Unless we have some insider tip we won't know if there's a weekly (or twice/three times weekly) automated process that will run ad nauseum. I am hoping that it was a manual process and they won't feel the need to run it any longer.

Agree, agree... but I think they'll do one more sweep around the end of the month when the announcement for the S8 comes out, driving some of the holdouts to buy the S8.Warmart wrote: Mon Mar 06, 2017 2:40 pm I was sometime from a Thursday night to Friday morning, in case it really matters. mine got hotlined by Verizon. same story of back and forth between VZW and Samsung and supervisors etc... They kept say Mandatory...I kept asking for any documented statement that used the word MANDATORY... They never produced any evidence and refused to release the hotline. Solution= Bye Bye VRZ and Hello Total Wireless (VRZ network from Walmart). No questions, no problems, half the cost... So now I have "free" N7 on Verizon network for less money and same signal coverage. Anyone else have success or failure switching to Total Wireless ?

I really need to try Total Wireless. I've been unhappy with Straight Talk and T-Mobile coverage and data speeds.jaydavidtaylor wrote: Wed Mar 08, 2017 12:53 pm mine got hotlined by Verizon. same story of back and forth between VZW and Samsung and supervisors etc... Theres a place called flashyphones in ny that says they can change imei on new samsungs. They do it remotely with octopus i guess. Spoke to them a few times but never bothered. Especially since big Sam gave me an s7e for free & didnt take my note7. I just wifi & do most stuff on this.but if i was in New York id look into it further. If anyone wants contact details let me know. Peace out. N7 too hot to handle
