One of my friends has a T-Mobile Note 7 that has been being used on some prepaid carrier, but will be used on T-Mobile going forward. Once the T-Mobile SIM is is put in, what settings need to be changed to make calls/data work?

I know about blocking the updates but how can I get LTE to work? Will the package blockers prevent the settings from being downloaded automatically?

If he doesn't have the 60% or 0% brick updates, he may get those so I would install Shield v2 before logging on to T-mobile

The LTE settings are just a few things under data or connections. That will all be easy to do. More important is to avoid the forced updates that will brick the phone

So how do we put in those settings to make LTE work?
