Update PRL

I need to update the prl and profile of my phone but it seems like I have those blocked. What should I do to get these updated? Thanks for your help!!

What are you using to block the update?

I have package disabler pro, but can no longer access the blocked packages, alliance shield 1, and solid explorer. Something in all of that is not allowing the prl and profile to be updated but I'm not sure what to enable without putting my phone in danger. Thanks again for your assistance!!

Back up your phone and download the shield v2 to an SD card or save to your computer.

Tqke out the sim and SD card and then Factory reset and follow these steps to get to the home screen without connecting to the internet: http://note7alliance.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4

Turn off auto updates:
Go to Settings---> Lock screen and security---> Other security settings---> Security policy updates---> Auto update----> Make sure knob is to the left in the off position.
OR
Go to Settings---> System Update---> Download updates automatically---> Make sure knob is to the left in the off position.

Then make sure it is set to WiFi only.

Put in your SIM card and let it connect to Sprint.

If the update tries to download, out the phone on airplane mode.

Then follow the steps to install the shield v2:

Thanks for the info. I will give it a shot. Is the link to the getting to the home screen without connecting to the internet correct? I can't seem to find that information on the link provided. Thanks again for your help. Im sure others will run into this eventually. I had some changes made to my plan and they would only take effect once the prl and profile were updated.

It looks like all is well now but I do have the "1" showing on the settings page now showing that an update is avaialble. Will this go away or do I need to start all over?

Ok, I did these steps all over again and was able to let the Sprint activation steps go through and put the phone in airplane mode right away. Then installed the shield from sd card only turning back off airplane mode for a quick second to sign in to alliance. All plan features are now working with no update available notification in settings. Shields up and protected. Thanks again for your help!!!
