Alliance shield cannot be installed on s4?

I saw on the forum that the alliance shield works as a package disabler for Samsung phone but cannot install it. I have a Samsung s4 sprint version. I get a failure to parse package. What does that mean and how to i fix it?

Which version of android do you have? Seems it's too old.
The shield v1 will only run on android 5 (lollipop) or higher.

Yes, download Shieldv1 as it is a full package Disabler that works on all phones aside from Note7.

I downloaded it some time ago but never installed it.....will it still work?
