PM me as I have a colleague who is testing a potential IMEI-block workaround for Verizon right now...
PM avoids "prying-eyes" and I'll keep an eye on my PM envelope for you

Hi Global.... same scenario for me. Just tried to PM you but it shows my message being stuck in the "outbox" for some reason and not sent. Just a heads up in case you don't see it. Thanks!

Got me today between 2-3:00CT. No outgoing calls, no incoming calls, no texting and no data. WiFi is ok.

Will PM @Global1 for any suggested work arounds. Does anyone else have any suggestions for the Verizon kill?

Thanks for all of your PMs...
Due to time difference (I get to sleep overnight), they have been accumulating in my Inbox which I will open in about ONE-hour (11:00am Saturday Australia EST - Canberra, Sydney ~ 7:00pm Friday New York)...
Each PM shows as being held in your Outbox until I open that specific PM - a confusing situation for you however they show in my Inbox and are available for me to read :-)
Testing on Verizon has shown a couple of minor issues to address and I'm getting good feedback from the N7A tester in the USA, however time-delay has an impact there.
Our goal is to complete testing by Saturday late-evening in the USA and hand the results to N7A Admin.

We are comfortable with having you as an already registered test-case to ensure that the instructions are easy to follow and to find those possibly obscure issues that need to be addressed.
... keep checking your PMs (after 7:00pm New York local time...

I'll be on board with anything that gets my Note 7 back to working conditions. Today January 27th is the day my phone got Hotline from Verizon.

I agree - I'm on board with anything. But if there's going to be a fix, I think it might be best to be delivered via PM. I'd hate for the wrong eyes to read it and apply their own 'fix' to counter it.

woke up this morning was using my phone then I lost internet tried to make phone call went straight to verizon customer support said ask for representative after verifying account

first person on phone said they could do nothing! I said someone needs to fix my phone!
she passed me to a supervisor,
she asked how my day was going I said TERRIBLE!
shes like why? I SAID CAUSE YOU KILLED MY PHONE!
she pause for a moment looked it up and seen I had a NOTE 7 she said my phone or line was HOTLINED, yeah so fix it!
well your NOTE 7 has a MANDATORY recall by Samsung and the Fed and that we need it back and we can sell you something else!
I'm like see that's the problem I DON'T want something else!
I stressed to her that an text msg that was received just 4 days ago that the Recall was VOLUNTARY and that I Voluntarily WANT TO KEEP MY NOTE 7!
she like well the federal ....
I said BS Voluntary means just that VOLUNTARY!
then I asked her If GM sells you a car then 3 months later tells you that a voluntary recall on them that if is not done you may be at risk of fire! I said it's my choice to fix the Issue and that GM won't come and take my car if I Don't!

well she paused for a moment and said well I can lift the HOTLINE status but it may get sent back out by the system again! too which I said, and at that Point I will call back in, and you can remove it again!
she said OKay
I said thank you, NOW MY DAY JUST GOT BETTER!
have a good day!

STRESS TO THEM ITS VOLUNTARY AND YOUR KEEPING YOU'RE PHONE DON't ACCEPT NO !!!
they will turn you back on!!
also If they were to try and Charge me for the phone! I Will tell them Sorry. weather or not I keep the phone or Return it YOU CAN NOT SELL ME A KNOWN DEFECTIVE PRODUCT You refunded me the money I spent on it SO YOU KNOW ITS DEFECTIVE!!
