Verizon Customers paid 4 phone 100%... have you been cut off?

Are there any Verizon customers shut off who have 1.) paid for their phones 100% and 2.) NOT been reimbursed or credited in any way?

The reason I ask is that I'm strongly considering calling them up and trying to figure out what my balance is (I made a cash downpayment to keep my monthly payments lower, in addition to paying sales tax like everyone else) and paying off the phone with a CC.

I would like to think that somehow this is a different situation... if it would buy me some time, I'm going to do it.

I paid for mine in full. It's a branded Verizon phone but I bought it off eBay from a 3rd party. I've always had a prepaid Verizon SIM in my phone (that I bought directly off their web site) and it hasn't been cut off yet. I've haven't gotten any notifications for a cut-off date and every now and then, I get a notification from Samsung to shut it off and return or exchange it. Verizon DID sent me a return box to return the phone but hasn't called or offered me any refund at all in the paperwork that was in the box. I haven't called Samsung nor Verizon to ask any questions. Phone is still charging to 100% because I done the ADB Script method to block the packages. I never trusted any type of *app* that uses a license to grant access to use it.

I HAVE A TEMPORARY FIX!!

To all those that have been officially "hotlined" by Verizon, I was able to get it lifted! I called Samsung (888-987-4357), told them that a Verizon representative informed me, if I talked to Samsung representative and had them say it was alright to lift the hotline; they would have to lift it. The representative at Samsung told me that they are not forcing Verizon to IMEI block, so they should lift it. He said, to make a 3 way call to Verizon and we'll talk it out. I called Verizon with Samsung on the line and informed the Verizon rep of this. As soon as I asked to have my hotline lifted the Verizon rep instantly agreed and lifted the hotline before the Samsung rep said anything.

This is a significant position...
which also indicates IMEI-block is on an account-by-account basis AND not at the direction of Samsung...
So at the direction of the FCC???

I was so excited about your post, I almost forgot to ask... Why do you only call it a temporary fix? Did they say they were still going to cut you off at some later date?

juliesdroidsync, I paid for my phone in full up front.
juliesdroidsync, They claimed that the 31st of Jan was the final date...... so it only really buys us time to figure out what to do...
