Welcome... first thing, you need to read the big red box at the top of every screen on this forum... I initially did not read it, too... it's called "Banner Blindness", the brain's response to being constantly inundated with advertising, our brains intentionally ignore red banners...

It tells you that you can't currently download the Shield and why. I realize there's a lot going on here, but slow down a little... and take the time to read the posts where your questions have already been addressed and multiple options have already been laid out in detail.

If you have no protection right now, maybe put your phone in Airplane mode, and temporarily remove your sim. At this point, everyone's approach has got to be a little different, especially depending on what carrier you have... (Hopefully not Verizon like me... currently, we're in the worst spot.)

Just make your phone as safe as you can until then, and hang in there.

I think now the firm ware that my note 7 have are well and does not need any update to make it better,just need to find away to avoid the killer update only.
