No ,if your at 60%(previous forced update) you should flash to get back to a 100%
app.php/page/where-to-start-checklist

If not go comment or post on 5 things and go download it. Eitherway you need to be protected .

OK, I just don't know, the 100% is just so beautiful I can't bring myself to do anything unless I see how everyone else's is doing first! I have been a rebel since they began their group on Facebook. Boot looped my phone and almost turned it in until I spoke to sprint. I told them that I had a note edge, and was wanting to just go back to the way things were before the upgrade that I waited two years for. They gave me bill credit for the note edge I owned, $95. Now they turn around and want to charge me $795 for a phone they gave me $95 for! I told them this would not work for me! I finally said that I would take the stupid s7 edge but I got my last phones on a bogo deal ( bought the note 7 and free year lease on s7 edge with option to buy) but never received either phone for free, anything! I finally got them to begin paying me back for the note 7 due to recall, but they refuse to honer the previous cotract deal, that they broke!! One cs rep told me well, it seems since the contract is void, we can't honer your bogo offer. They broke the contract so now they get me to pay full price for two phones and lock me into a contract I can't get out of when the phone I want comes out! No thank you, I would rather not get screwed today, but thanks anyways for incentives. So now I have been sent two explosion proof boxes from Samsung who can keep em coming maybe I will send them back empty! So I will keep the phone no matter what because I was given no other choice. I want to be sure this works for sprint customers before I do it. I love the phone and plan to keep it for a very long time. How much maintenance will it be in the future??

Thought they wanted the phones back...where was the incentive in that? Head exec told me I could get a free s7 but would have to pay taxes on it! I said anything that involves me paying money out of pocket for something I don't want is not going to work. Then rebels would not help after I boot looped my phone on such short notice. Thank you alliance, you guys have really outdone yourselves here!

All the phone carriers need to get a clue and stop trying to screw their customers over. Especially when it's fairly simple to flash the phone back to original.
I've had sprint do stuff like that in the past and they always act like they have no responsibility when they screw up or an issue occurs.

As far as the actual flashing firmware process, it takes about 30 minutes on average depending on your computer, etc. Then it'll be a bit for the update to finish installing. The actual flashing part isn't that long though.
