My Wi-Fi on note 7 is not working and can't even see any networks that are in the area.. setting tabs are greyed out in Wi-Fi setting and my iris scanner not working either

What processes did you use to change it, fix it?

Did you try restarting the phone?

I tried restarting over and over ..using airplane mode and switching back with no luck just don't understand how can it just disappear

When you say restarting it, are you restarting it, or factory reseting it? And, what CSC file did you flash with?

Can the update still effect your phone if followed your steps?

I flashed the 930a file for at&t from here on site not at home to see file on computer . I haven't done a factory reset I figured with new firmware I shouldn't need to. What does this have to do with iris scanner cause it's not working anymore either.. starting to think maybe it's hardware

Sometimes a so called "dirty" flash with other firmware can affect some functions. If you've some data (photos etc.) on it you want to keep, make a backup first and then give the factory reset a try. In most cases this will help to get rid of missing features. Don't forget to repeat the steps for installing and activating the shield after this.

Wi fi was out and iris scanner out before flash .. Will give a factory reset a try ...

Well I just did a factory reset with no luck .. wi-fi still not working don't no what else to try.. I haven't miss handle the phone so it seem crazy to me that wi-fi is out and the iris scanner .. guess it has to be hardware

no, it is most likely good lock. uninstall it and see if your wifi works
