I am already stuck at step 2....effffffff

I downloaded the smart switch per the instructions "Drivers and Backup:
-Run Samsung Smart Switch for PC and install it onto your computer. Do not upgrade the Samsung Smart Switch program. The latest version does not have the Note7 drivers."

When I go to open smart switch for PC on the computer, I get this error message "The ordinal 8452 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung\Smart Switch PC\SmartSwitchPC.exe"

Please help.

Seems to be an installation error. Try to uninstall, reboot the pc and install again.

thank you, beowulf. i uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times and it still is not working.

got it to work. the problem is something with C++ in the background/computer thingy, not smart switch. here is a link to forum that talks about and provides a fix. http://forum.notebookreview.com/.../unable-to-run-smart.../
