Do I need to update to the shield?

I installed the Note 7 Update Blocker via adb script from the Alliance site weeks ago. So far so good, no Verizon software updates have come through as of 1:34pm on 1/5/17. Not sure that I really need to install the Alliance Shield... Thoughts?

I moved you post because it wasn't related to that topic. I'd think you are fine. Maybe some other people have other opinions.

The adb script is fine. If you want extra protection you can use the shield

I'm concern that it may not be enough to protect me as I do not have a backup phone.

I have BKDisabler, but would like to install Alliance Shield. Will it conflict/cause any problems?
