I also was a beta tester. John had asked me to post here as well but I couldn't figure it out on my Note 7 :? and my home computer was also down during vacation so I had to wait til I got back to work with a big screen to follow up.

I loaded Beta version 0.3.2 on Christmas day and am happy to report that it was the best Christmas present you could ask for.
I have been safe so far (although Sprint is threatening the 8th) and even got rid of the annoying reminders to update.

I have yet to upgrade from that version.
Do I need to or will that beta version be sufficient?

Hey there Jim,

If you were a beta tester then surely we suggest that you update to 0.5.6 to ensure all bugs/things were fixed. Along the testing, some beta users pointed out packages needed, translations or bugs that how now been patched.

Good to know. Thanks. I will peruse the board to see what packages are needed as my Note 7 is no longer recognized by my computer. The other caveat is that I am also using package disabler pro and BD disabler and I am sure that this is part of my problem. I probably went overboard as I was originally hit by the 60% and don't want to feel that pain again. It would be nice to be safe and not limited in functionality. I hope that someone has detailed what to do in my case ((ie should I upgrade and activate the alliance shield and then disable the other two or vice versa (disable the other two and then update and activate alliance shield )and do I need to do all this in airplane mode?))

I hope to find time to read through these forums and work all this out tonight.
I am on Sprint so I still have a few days but would rather rest easy just in case I mess up and need to flash firmware again before the kill update.
