Hi Guys,

I'm looking to install the shield x on my Note 5 and I'm wondering if I'll still need to take out my SIM card and put the phone in airplane mode? I'm assuming I'll still need to do a back-up and reset but the other items sounded Note 7 specific. Correct?

Not for a note 5, no forced updates there.
