Not sure what happened I have version 1 of the shield but I noticed that my phone is no longer charging despite being plugged in for hours and trying several different chargers. What's the best method to fix? Do I reset and install version 2 of the shield???? Please reply asap! Thank you in advance for your help!

Did you already try to restart your note?

No, I'll do that now and report back. My phone has been extremely laggy the last few days I don't know what's up with it :-/.

Now it's charging again, thank you! I feel like a dumb blonde for not thinking of that, I typically have more common sense but I think I just panicked

@beowulf381 so here's the weird thing, it doesn't seem to be charging when I take it off Ultra Power Saving mode, in fact the battery drains super fast despite going into device maintenance and clearing the ram, optimizing and checking the battery settings. I'm using the fast charger as well so it should be at least holding the current percentage if not going up...right?

You can try to shutdown (switch off) and charge then while off to see if it works.
If so, we can analyze later what's draining your battery.

It's weird I don't think I got a topic reply notification when you actually replied but I did get one 5 mins ago..Anyway so I finally got around to resetting my phone and now I have version 3 of the shield but my battery keeps draining a lot quicker than usual, I've always used GSams battery monitor Pro and I've been checking it and fixing the apps that are draining but I wanted to see if you can recommend anything else that would be better?
