Got Odin downloaded and the sprint firmware, but noticed my phones firmware which is: N930PVPU2APK1 is different from the Sprint firmware I downloaded from this forum, but same model SM-930P. Will the Sprint firmware I downloaded from here work? Should I go ahead and use it?

The firmware on this forum is what you should use you can't use the previous version it will fail... as long as you use N930P you are good

The firmware on this forum is what you should use you can't use the previous version it will fail... as long as you use N930P you are good

Thanks a lot. Will use the firmware i downloaded. Will my data be erased, because the firmware doesn't have the HOME_CSC file? I downloaded Samsung smart switch onto my pc but cant install it due to some unknown error. Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot. I've successfully restored my Note 7 from 60% to 100% and shield is blocking the update. Unfortunately I lost almost all my data because my pc wouldn't install Samsung smart switch so i did the backup manually.
One other issue, the brick update notification is still on. I've factory restored it twice but update starts even before i get shield active. But anyway I am happy phone is functioning well now. Just need to get it unlocked so I can use a carrier sim card.

I know this is probably a dumb question but has anyone known of or actually found a way to Downgrade from PHE firmware?
