consider doing some research on the still in circulation S7 or S7E sim card cable, the trays to load the mmcsd and sim are nearly the same. with the note 7 trim "cap" being slightly to the right or left but if a imei editor/efs editor ribbon is just that, a ribbon it may work.

I dont think z3x is upto date with msm8996 tools, maybe consider getting an octopus box bc im pretty sure they have the sled youre looking for. Could even inquire about the cable set too. Ill come back with some research.

O and for some reason my IMEI would come up as a note 3 in some IMEI checker sites... Anyone have this issue?

Ya, mine came back as a note 4 when I looked it up. Don't think most of those are very accurate from what I've found.

well guys, a very unlikely source for swap to s7E came through today for me... I now own a s7e thanks to walmart and their uneducated and uninformed employees. A couple hours and a gift card return or two and boom im in a new device, so im happy to announce it was unupdated and contained the awesome APB5 launch FW from june or july whenever the s7e was released XD im a happy man. running ECHOE rom v1.41 deodexed w root and exposed shes a bad b#$ch

Hello n7alliance☺ I am desperately trying to activate the alliance shield on my note 7 as quickly as possible, so that I wont receive any updates to shut it down. I also compile different software and firmwares forward but just got thos phone a few days ago and had to do a frp bypass on it, now I'm in it and need to disable as many update packages as I can! Thank ypu in advance for any and all help on thos topic. BTW, I love how we still are rocking our note 7s still!

Nope as any carrier is using your MSISDN ID number , changing the IMEI won t help you at all !

I have bk disablers on my N7 what would prevent my spell checker from working?
