I can't thank you guys enough for all the hard work that was put into the first AllianceShield app, and the time and dedication that continues on within this community! The support on here as well as the Facebook page has been incredible. It's been truly inspiring to watch this community grow and bring all kinds of people together. I'm really grateful for everyone's participation and contributions!

I hope everyone has a good week despite Verizon trying to ruin it!

My Alliance Shield V1 is still protecting me :-) and I'm grateful for the time Aztek, RRiVeN and the other N7A supporters are investing for our future

wait... wait... wait... @Global1; didn't I read that Samsung removing them from the Knox agreement will brick them on a Factory Data Reset?

Aztek and RRiVeN have the in-depth technical knowledge, but seems that Samsung's implementation used Knox's security certificate as part of the change management process and when Samsung removed the Note 7 Update prevention having access to the Knox back-end servers, any new attempt to activate 'update prevention software' failed and also removed the protection already in place - which is why Aztek, RRiVeN and their technical support team are working to re-implement protection under the Alliance Shield MkII.
Dependent upon the current status of this particular Note 7, a factory reset may remove protection and may reset to a recoverable release-version or not...
