After i flashed and got the shield i see there is a system update. I am not going to click it, is this normal?

I just kept going through the process until I got a pass. Took 6 tries

Did you get the shield after you flashed.. meaning did you allow your phone to have any kind of internet before the shield was enabled

You need a couple more posts to get to 5. Then you can download the shield app and log on and block the update.

Glad you got it running again. I've seen on here thatbit can take upwards of 10 tries sometimes. We're you able to get the shield installed and ready for to block the update?

No, I'm afraid to do anything with it! I haven't had it charged to 100% for a while! I'm just curious to see how things go for everyone else first! Is it time sensitive? I've downloaded solid explorer and s package Disabler to my laptop however

I would recommend downloading the shield app over the other method.

And once you get that running, you kind of put a stop on the timer for it being a time sensitive thing. The Sprint update rolls out today. Then, you worry about getting the appropriate firmware to roll back, and all it entails.
