Yup, that's all you need. Flashed mine a couple times, so I'm here if you need to ask any questions. But, yeah, flash it back to stock, reinstall the shield app, set it up. And you're good to go.

Auuugh.... guess what, when I went to dump pdp, the update installed. Still at 100% & the updated is lingering in the notification bar. So a total reflash or just uninstall the shield & reinstall?

I got a major push too today from verizon. About to do the shield. God . I'm praying. I have thus far been able to avoid it. 100% still . Baby steps

Yes, however, to activate shield I had to have internet connection & the same in reverse for the pdp to uninstall

I'm trying to beat the update now. My buddy referred me here and we both love our phones hope we are safe! Stand strong keep you note 7!

Yes, I have the little square with the recycle circle in the lower right corner.
When I go to my shield app though it just has the disable admin button & I can't get to the shield button itself.

Sorry to bother you, but as your on and I realized the updates comes in 1 hour, i need help!! I am trying to find the shield app to download, but cannot find it with in the play store (probably dumb question). I did find the app in here in the directional video, but had to download it through the computer. Is their a guide for us less techy people? Please help, thank you!

Sorry to double post, but I am in a flurry of panic trying to get everything installed before the update lol. I have a Note with ATT and I got hit with the 60%. I just came to the forum today since I found it, and would like to remove the 60% block and install the shield to protect myself from the big brick. Can you help me? I am trying to locate directions for a step by step as I am less techy, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

The sheild app can be located here. There are instructions for install.and downloading it with it as well.
