Just wondering, and I'm in no way implying that the app might be used to do anything, and that's why I'm checking with you before moving further.

Appreciate the opportunity to put this to test and I will report back and will happily avail all logs in order to improve it.

Before I continue, I will point out when you open the app you are told the read SMS can be denied it is only for the phone info section. The storage is needed to extract the system files, and make phone calls is because I need phone state. I didn't realize it gave me permission to make calls. I will look into it

Anyone else testing beta have issues with "Software Update" and other packages Shield has patched to prevent updates where it will crash and popup a few times a day or, at all?

I am already an approved N7 Beta tester. Yesterday I wanted to report what happened when I installed & ran the beta version but yesterday there was a problem signing in so I am doing it now.
After I “Enable Admin” I get the green shield & a list of 3 updates that when you click them, nothing happens – which is great because they are being blocked. What I am still getting is that annoying ban message from Samsung when I turn my phone on & also my battery capacity is still at 60%.

So, my question is, should beta version have the features as the original shield which took care of the annoying message & put the battery back to 100%.

Thanks in advance for your response & keep up the great effort you are putting into saving the Note 7.

Nyvinman you're going to want to head over to http://checklist.n7alliance.com and restore your phone to 100% battery and then use the shield.

Is it too late to get in the beta program......all my disablers are no longer working and I'm starting to get Samsung messages now on my phone which the disabler I had before was blocking......
