Im not sure tbh. I can still charge as of 1:37 am eastern time on 1/7 but its in and out as if the wire was loose but its not. Mobile data works though... is the wire thing just a cooincidence?

The update is not until the 8th. I am inclined to be there will be no sucker punch from sprint. They have been pretty up front about what their intentions were with the phone, and I do not know about you, but I get a regular countdown on my phone. It used to be every 3 or 4 days I would get a reminder about the deadline, but at this point, I am getting an update once a day, and they are coming in the form of pages, not text. I should have taken a screen-shot of the thing, but all of their warnings and notices have become white noise, so I don't put enough value on them to think "oh, this might be important to someone else- I ought to get picture evidence of it, so they can see what I have seen."

It will start on the 8th but I'm sure the update will roll out slowly and it will probably take up to 2 days for the update to reach everyone.

I haven't either. I'm sure if we have the shield we are good, just hoping they don't block ESNs in the future.
