I had the exact same question. Hopefully you'll get an answer soon.

Hey guys,
I'm no expert on the shield however I pretty much installed it in less than 20 minutes. The instructions are clear and concise, just follow them one step at a time. I have S package disabler on my Note 7. I re-enabled everything after first placing my phone in AIRPLANE MODE before installing the shield. Once installed and activated I went back and disabled all the programs I consider to be bloatware. Good luck people. This is a great place.

Downloaded the shield, installed and activated it, enabled then uninstalled BK. Tapped the shield off then back on to make sure everything needed was blocked. Then did my bloatware

Although Keith's method would be just as sufficient. The goal is to get switched over quickly. To a more secure method.

Package Disabler Pro (PDP) is trying to find ways to invalidate every previous version. I had it myself, and it was working fine, but I did the previous update block that was listed here with the ADB command, and stopped using PDP.
A nightmare scenario, for me, was that they would somehow remotely kill my app... mid-day maybe, while I was working... and then BOOM, I'd be stuck with the battery killing update. Since you know this group won't do that to you, I'd HIGHLY suggest making the switch from PDP.

Has anyone else had issues with the working version of Package Disabler Pro? It would seem that unless you update in the play store they would have no way of doing an OTA update on the app. That's just a guess on my part.

It's recommended to uninstall other disablers.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Do you guys close the app ie hit the little X on alliance shield after you activate it? I just installed it as recommended then reblocked Samsung push update on PDP (that's the only one AS didn't reblock) kinda scared to uninstall PDP it saved my ass for awhile now.
