How to set up a guest mode on Android<\/h2>\n

The first thing you\u2019ll need to do is enter your phone\u2019s settings. You can do that by tracking down the \u2018Settings\u2019 app in your app drawer, or by swiping from the top down twice. We\u2019ll do the latter, and tap the settings icon.<\/p>\n

In the settings, enter the \u2018System\u2019 menu.<\/p>\n

There, amongst other options, you\u2019ll see the \u2018Multiple users\u2019 menu, which is the one we need.<\/p>\n

Now, here you\u2019ll see an explanation of the guest mode, essentially. Your phone basically explains that enabling this will allow other users a personal space on your phone, for custom home screens, accounts, apps, settings, and more. So, tap the toggle highlighted below, and let\u2019s get started.<\/p>\n

The moment you enable this toggle, a new round of menus will appear. As you can see, the \u2018Add guest\u2019 option is now available, let\u2019s tap it.<\/p>\n

Congratulations, you\u2019ve created your first guest account. You can switch to it from this menu, by tapping the \u2018Switch to Guest\u2019 option, or you can do it later on. That\u2019s what we\u2019ll do. So tap the backwards arrow in the top-left corner.<\/p>\n

Now, swipe down from the top twice, like you did in the beginning. At the bottom of your Quick Toggles, you\u2019ll notice a new menu, which is blue-colored. Tap it.<\/p>\n

Here you\u2019ll see all your user accounts, including the \u2018Guest\u2019 one you\u2019ve created. If you like to switch to it, you can do it from here. The same goes for returning to the admin account. If you\u2019d like to delete the guest account, simply tap the \u2018User settings\u2019 option, which is also highlighted in the image below.<\/p>\n
